In
all of the great cities of the world, there exists
at least one private club, which has become an
integral part of the business and personal lives of
the community. Ho Chi Minh City joined the ranks of
those cities in March 2003.
Originally conceived with the building of Saigon
Tower in the mid-1990s, the Saigon Town &
Country Club became a reality with the formation of
the Founding Board of Governors in late 2001. The
Founding Board was comprised of leading individuals
in the community who realized that the City needed a
place where they could entertain for business or
pleasure, and a place for their families to
socialize and enjoy various sports and recreational
pursuits; all in an environment which was a haven
from the day-to-day rigors of working and living in
the City. Also, they realized that in order for it
to succeed the Club must maintain a strict policy of
membership-by-invitation only so that the Club would
establish itself properly in the eyes of the
community. Today, the current Board continues to
insure that the original visions of a haven and
membership-by-invitation only are being maintained
and enhanced with each and every action undertaken
by the Board and implemented by Management.
Today
the Club is in two different locations; the town
club occupies the top two floors of Saigon Tower
and the country club has over 2 hectares of land in
An Phu adjacent to the Parkland Service Apartments.
There are many activities and events such as wine
tastings, special dinners, exclusive clubs with the
Club, sports tournaments, Little Leagues for the
kids plus much more which cater to all of the
different segments of the Club’s membership. The
Club is able organize such a wide variety of events
due to the most extensive facilities in Ho Chi Minh
City that include three different dining options,
bars, supervised children’s areas for both
toddlers and teens, a multiuse sports field for
soccer, softball, & field hockey, 3 tennis
courts, squash, a multipurpose court for basketball,
jogging track, a wading pool, a lap pool and a fun
pool, a spa plus premier gyms in both locations to
name just a few.
The Town Club is currently closed
until further notice.
